Is PawPapers free?
Yes. PawPapers is free for one pet with every core feature: records, reminders, Share with Vet, the lost pet poster, ID card and backups. No trial, no ads.
What does the $6.99 lifetime unlock add?
Unlimited pets, plus document photos (like vaccine certificates) inside the vet PDF. It is a single payment through Gumroad, with no subscription.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your device, in your browser’s storage. There is no account and no copy on our servers, so we cannot see your pet’s records.
How do I back up?
Go to Settings, then Back up now. You get one file with every pet, record and photo. Save it to Files or Google Drive, or email it to yourself, and restore it on a new phone with Restore from backup. Clearing your browser data erases PawPapers, so back up regularly.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, and on desktop too. Open pawpapers.pages.dev/app in Safari or Chrome and add it to your home screen. It opens full screen and works offline.
How do I share records with my vet?
Open your pet and tap Share with Vet. Pick what to include, then save the PDF or send it by email with your vet’s address filled in.
